Lee Min Jung got her leading man, Lee Chun Hee August 6th 2009

It was announced yesterday that Lee Min Jung (yup, Gu Jun Pyo’s fiancee from “Boys Over Flowers”) were getting her first leading role in the new SBS weekend drama 그대, 웃어요 (”Smile, You” – working title).

Earlier today, they have announced that Lee Chun Hee (YAY!) will be her leading man for this weekend drama. Get ready to see more of Chunderella, as Lee Chun Hee will be having a similiar role like his nickname itself, “Chun + derella (from Cinderella)”, while Lee Min Jung’s role is the immature daughter from a conglomerate family – whose then loses its richness and begins tolearn to live in poverty. (I guess this is how later on the leading lady will meet her man, Lee Chun Hee the Chunderella ;) keke)

그대, 웃어요 will be airing around in October after “Style” wraps up.

“Boys Over Flowers” actress, or famously known as Gu Jun Pyo’s fiancee, Lee Min Jung had a great time with the children, doing the fundraising promotions at the COEX event hall, Samsung-dong, Seoul. This event “Good Buy” is sponsored by the Good Neighbors Campaign to raise some funds to fight global poverty.

Every product is marked with a red heart-shaped logo pops out of a white box, “Good Buy for Children”. When a customer buys these products, all the profits will go to the global fund to fight poverty. (Now if only we can also buy the T-shirt, I’d want to buy ‘em too! ^_^)

Goodbye, Ha Jae Kyung~

I admit, Lee Min Jung is the perfect Ha Jae Kyung, and I’m glad she was a part of the cast. Though they could’ve made the “fiancee arc” a little shorter, like maybe 3 episodes max, that’d be great. -_-

Sooooo relieved and happy when that plane took off, which means Junpyo and Jandi can rekindle their love if only for a short time~ Nonetheless, Lee Min Jung, you’re such a cutie. And deep down I’m kinda glad they didn’t ‘butcher’ your character a lot, and you did exit the drama with such a cool stance :]

The cast of the popular KBS2 drama, “Boys Over Flowers” made the news again. And now it’s Lee Min Jung’s turn to post her selca pics on her personal blog. She’s wearing a sweater’s hoodie and took her own selca (self-camera) pictures on Feb 27 blog update on her mini-hompy.

The picture was updated in the morning, and she was dressed in casual clothing. Pictured as comfortable and playful as she is, it was indeed taken in a quiet restaurant off screen (maybe it was after the filming, or in between break)

When netizens and her fans visited the homepage, their comments are, “Too cute!”, “You have such a beautiful face and great acting. I envy you.” And some of them even praised her acting as Gu Jun Pyo’s fiancee, showing that her supporters are also a lot, in term of her being the ‘third-wheel’ in Junpyo-Jandi’s ship.

Meanwhile, the triangle relationship, or maybe by next week we can say it’s a 4-ways relationship since Ji Hoo will be in the picture, the four of them will be entangled in a love ‘mess’. LOL~ I’m interested to see if Ha Jae Kyung will also follow the manga as she tries to seduce Jun Pyo by offering her… erhm… body. Eeeeks! The PD should be careful with this, as we have youngsters in the houz.

Lee Min Jung’s selca

Lee Min Jung, or now well-known as “Gu Jun Pyo’s fiancee, Ha Jae Kyung” posted these two pictures on her mini-hompy, causing such interests from “Boys Over Flowers” fans (and anti-fans).

She’s indeed such a happy-go-lucky, cheerful character that if Jun Pyo isn’t madly in love with Jan Di, I wouldn’t mind him ending up with her. But since their fate isn’t like destined, I’m glad they added her into the cast, making “Boys Over Flowers” more interested than it already is.

Anticipating the ‘adult’ F4 this coming Monday -february 11

I know Monday and Tuesday have just passed, but the hype is still on, and I’m with all people and F4 fans are anticipating to see how it’ll all work out after Jun Pyo left Jan Di with that sweet text message of his, “I’ll come back. Wait for me, don’t do anything. I love you, Geum Jan Di” *melts* Awww… BUT, will it change when his so-called fiancee, Jae Kyung (Lee Min Jung) comes to the picture? (isn’t she pretty? though I wasn’t fond of the fiancee in both versions, I think the Korean version will change my mind a bit… she’s too cute!)

So, apparently, episode 13-24 will be quite a ride, despite the fact that the storyline will NOT be the same as the other versions (Taiwan and Japan), but also because the boys, I mean guys are now graduated from high school and unto the college years/professional field. Jun Pyo might just be the next in line to inherit his father’s position as the top leader of the Shinhwa Group. As for the rest of them, well, I guess we’ll see it soon! ^^

It isn’t Jun Pyo if he lets go that shoe… wait, is it a woman’s shoe? Could it be…. for… Jan Di?? Awww! ^^ and she wants it too! “I had it first!” “Let it go!” hee hee.. I have a vividly mental picture in my head about this scene. It’s going to be great!
(I should say Gu Jun Pyo is getting hotter and hotter by the scene! *fangirly sigh*)

Lee Min Jung’s first appearance on “Boys Over Flowers” will be on episode 13, this upcoming Monday, Feb 16.

New Face! Lee Min-jung joins “Boys Over Flowers”

Lee Min-jung is set to join the cast of the hit drama, “Boys over flowers”by injecting more complications to the relationship between characters Ku Joon-pyo (Lee Min-ho) and Geum Jan-di (Goo Hye-sun). The 25 year old will create a love triangle by being the new woman.

Lee Min-jung will appear in episode 13 on February 16th.
